Check your email inbox settings

Based on the email client you're using, you may need to update certain settings to ensure emails from Stemble aren't getting filtered out of your inbox. If you're expecting to receive a signup, notification, or verification email from Stemble and nothing appears in your inbox, check your spam or junk folders to see if your email provider mistakenly filtered them out of your main inbox.

If you're using Microsoft Outlook, you can follow the steps below to confirm that Stemble emails are not being quarantined, or that they're being sent to your Focused Inbox, if you've enabled it.

Release quarantined Stemble emails in your Outlook inbox or Office 365 account

Office 365 and Outlook may quarantine Stemble notification emails automatically. To fix this issue, you should check your quarantined messages and release any Stemble emails from quarantine. Navigate to the Quarantine section in your Office 365 Security and Compliance Center, then follow these instructions to move any Stemble emails back to your inbox.

Move Stemble emails into your Focused Inbox in Microsoft Outlook

If you've enabled Focused Inbox for Microsoft Outlook, it's possible that Outlook may be filtering out emails from Stemble. To fix this issue, you can follow these steps in Microsoft's documentation.

If you're using Gmail, you can follow the steps below to confirm that Stemble emails are not being quarantined, or that they're being sent to your Focused Inbox, if you've enabled it.

Due to the way Gmail automatically categorizes emails, you may notice that your Stemble emails are appearing in the Promotions tab of your Gmail inbox.

How the Gmail Promotions tab works

Gmail introduced the Promotions tab to help organize the inboxes of its users, and keep all marketing emails, promotional content, and any other bulk emails all in one place.

The Promotions tab is not the same as a spam folder but if you don't regularly check the Promotions tab, you may want to consider moving emails from Stemble to your Primary inbox.

Moving emails out of the Promotions tab

You can drag your email messages from the Promotions tab to Primary to help ensure that similar emails will appear there moving forward. Once you move the email from your Promotions tab into your Primary tab, Gmail will ask you if you would like to do this for similar messages in the future. Click Yes, Stemble emails should now appear in your Primary tab.
